Hi, I'm Laura. I can help you find the guts to heal your guts

Laura's story:

My interest in nutrition started during my college years as a volleyball athlete, where I experienced firsthand the impact of diet on performance. While my initial focus was on sports nutrition, life led me to develop a passion for nutrition in gut health and cancer.

Cancer nutrition became deeply personal when my mother was diagnosed with endometrial cancer. Her journey highlighted the crucial role nutrition plays in supporting the body through treatments. At the same time, I faced my own issues with gut health. I went from loving food to seriously dreading what kind of discomfort or pain I would have after eating. Despite multiple doctor visits and tests, I didn’t get much advice beyond “take vitamin D and exercise” – actions I was already taking. Determined to learn more, I discovered the link between gut health and the brain, especially in conditions like irritable bowel syndrome.

I am all about helping people find joy in food again. Whether you are experiencing side effects of cancer, struggling with gut symptoms, or just wanting to relearn how to enjoy your meals, I’ve got your back. Together, we can make a positive impact by using strategies that are not only backed by evidence, but also guide you towards lasting behaviour change. Change can be so tough, but incredibly empowering when taking control of your own health. I am very excited to work alongside you in supporting your mind, body, and overall well-being!
